I'd never of thought I'd outgrow it's limitations in just one year but either I'm getting better by the day or just a little more fussy!
The Canon S95 is a fantastic compact camera which allows full manual control. However being a fixed lens, it is restricted to f2-f8. I own a Nikon D80 but wasn't about to spend the cash required to house such an old if brilliant camera.
So! I decided to go down the micro 4/3 route.. setting myself up with an Olympus E-PL3 and custom Olympus housing.. getting the benefit of dSLR image quality but at a fraction of the bulk and cost.. Now I have interchangeable lenses and also the ability to add external wet lenses if the fancy takes me.
If I manage to out grow this setup any day soon I will probably be famous and not need to worry about future cost!
